(Grand) Mama-love raw chocolate - macadamia, goji and rose petal

It’s Mama’s day this week and in memory of my beautiful grandmother Isabella - who was the best mama I had in my growing up years

Here is a recipe created today in her honor - on her plate and linen………..because she is worth it where ever she is……..on some cloud sipping tea no doubt.

INGREDIENTS:

1/4 cup of coconut oil

1/4 cup of cacao butter

1/2 cup of cacao powder

1/4 cup of honey/maple syrup/rice syrup (or a combo of these) I used maple and rice for the one in the photo

1/2 cup of macadamia butter - make your own or use Amber and Gold’s delcious blend (or use peanut or any other nut butter)

1/2 teaspoon of vanilla

1/4 teaspoon himalayan salt

goji berries and rosepetals to mix in and on ( to taste)

METHOD:

Prepare a square tin lined with baking paper (or little chocolate molds if you prefer)

Gently melt the coconut oil and cacao butter together on a low heat

Mix all the ingredients together and pour into into your tin, spread it out to the edges so it is even thickness

Refrigerate or freeze for at least 20mins

Cut into squares and display on the perfect grandmother’s plate.

This recipe is great for diabetics (my grandmother was one) as it won’t spike your blood sugar, as the coconut oil slows down the release of the natural sugar, so you can enjoy a steady release of readily available energy and all the health benefits of natural cacao, goji and rose petal plant medicine. Opening the heart and bringing us back to our hearts truth. Perfect with a cup of rose-petaled tea.
